FAMILIES WHO DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH NUTRITIOUS FOOD ARE NOT SIMPLY “POOR” OR “LAZY.” DIFFERING SITUATIONS SUCH AS HURRICANE AFTERMATH, MEDICAL ISSUES, LOW WAGES, SINGLE PARENTHOOD, AND MORE CAN ALL CAUSE PEOPLE TO SEEK HELP.
Health and Psychological Clinics
NATURAL DISASTERS LIKE HURRICANE MARIA, RECENT EARTHQUAKES AND THE COVID 19 PLACE WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND THE ELDERLY IN THE EYE OF A DIFFERENT KIND OF STORM; INCREASING THEIR VULNERABILITY TO DANGERS RANGING FROM COMPLICATIONS DURING PREGNANCY AND DELIVERY, NEED OF OXYGEN FOR NEWBORNS AND SENIORS, SHORTAGE OF MEDICATIONS, AND MORE.
Educational Community Relief
This project will fix up an abandoned building to impact and provide free empowerment programs, educational services and disaster relief services to a community of 6,000+ families affected by Hurricane Maria.
